New HP Devices Fall 19: More Affordable Than Ever

Every device in our HP lineup has received an update with new processors, new graphics cards, or new displays. All HP laptops now also feature the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology and IR cameras for Windows Hello compatibility. We’ve also switched from our previous onsite warranty to a pickup & return warranty, which will give you a similar service level in case of repairs at a significantly lower price point. Additionally, a large drop in RAM and SSD prices have allowed us to either upgrade storage or reduce the prices for our HP lineup. To give you the best experience even in difficult lighting situations, all of our HP laptops come with antiglare screens, even the models with a touchscreen.

Laptops

The EliteBook 735 G6 is the most affordable Neptun laptop at under CHF 1000.-. With the latest AMD Picasso CPU, it delivers solid performance in office and basic graphics applications. Thanks to the great battery life of about 12 hours, according to our own tests, you can stay mobile all day long. The 735 is easily upgradeable if your needs change in the future. One of the two RAM slots is free and the SSD can be exchanged.

The EliteBook 840 G6 features a high-resolution 4k display and a fast Intel i7 CPU. Together with the 16 GB of RAM, this device is a future-proof office workhorse with a great price/performance ratio. It can be upgraded as easily as the 735 G6 and the Thunderbolt 3 ports allow for convenient docking and extension.

Convertibles

Both our HP convertibles have FullHD antiglare (matte) displays, even though they have touchscreens with pen support. This significantly reduces reflections you get from strong overhead light sources like you’d find in lecture halls or outside during sunny weather. The antiglare treatment also gives the displays a paper-like texture, which leads to a more natural writing feeling with the pen. The pen is included with both devices.

The EliteBook x360 830 G6 comes with an i7 CPU, is well upgradeable, all while keeping a student-friendly price point. For mobile users, it can be upgraded with a WWAN module and it features our best-in-class battery life of more than 15 hours, according to our own tests.

The EliteBook x360 1040 G6 has largely the same hardware as the 830, but it comes with a larger 14” display which also supports SureView, which lets you reduce the viewing angles of the display by the press of button. This way, you can keep your screen content away from nosy neighbors. Additionally, the 1040 can be ordered with WWAN.

Both our convertibles have Thunderbolt 3 ports for easy docking and to attach external displays and graphics cards.
